There are many hydrotherapy programs out there. Why should I choose yours?

At Aim Physiotherapy, we provide the highest quality of care by creating an individualised program tailed to your needs. Whether your goals are fitness, strength, balance or getting you ready for land exercises, your 45-min program will be built around your goals.

We are fortunate enough to be able to do our hydrotherapy class in the pool situated at the Royal Society for the Blind, Hillcrest. Which is 16 mins away from our Toorak Clinic, 5 mins from our Oakden clinic and only 3 mins from our Windsor clinic!!!

This pool has stairs with 2 hand rails to help you enter the pool. The pool is 10 metres long and it has a shallow end (0.8m) and deep end (1.5m). The physiotherapist in the pool with you will recommend at what level of water you should be in to make sure your exercise is most effective.

The pool has both male and female toilets for those who want to shower straight after and the pool is surrounded with car parks however the Gillies Plains Shopping Centre is across the road if you want to do your exercise and then do your food shopping after.

We also have a wide range of hydrotherapy based equipment such as floats, weights, pool noodles and kick boards that can be prescribed by your physiotherapists to make exercises easier or harder depending on your level of strength and expertise.

Our classes go for 45 mins and have a maximum of 8 people in them. This allows you to get enough individual attention and allow you to interact with other people experiencing the same pain or stiffness you are. Our clients love the social aspect our hydrotherapy and Pilates classes create and many enjoy a “quick” coffee catch up after class.

Call the office now on 8331 1557 to arrange an appointment to speak with one of our physiotherapists at our Oakden, Toorak Gardens or Windsor Gardens clinics and find out if hydrotherapy can help you.
