Our Cardio Pilates class is a perfect way to improve your fitness level and enables you to lose weight through the use of interval cardio training and fast paced Pilates exercise utilizing the reformer.
Cardio exercise is designed to increases heart rate and metabolism which is the key for weight loss. Your heart is a muscle which we can train like other part of our body. A strong heart can deliver more oxygen to your muscles which helps to burn more fat during the day.
According to the American Heart Association, at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise at least 5 days per week is the recommended to keep your cardiovascular system healthy. At Aim Physiotherapy, we make sure everyone is doing this effectively and safely by making a tailored program. Our Physio/ Pilates instructors design a program with various exercises with a mixture of 60% slow intensity cardio and 40% intense cardio.
The class is divided into a number of circuits, including the use of 4 reformers, exercise bike, treadmill and rowing machines, the combination of these machines helps to improve you heart rate and thus overall fitness level.
