Our 45 minutes Pre/Postnatal Pilates class is specifically designed for mums-to-be and new mums who want to:

– Maintain pelvic floor and core strength throughout pregnancy to prevent incontinency and diastasis recti (separation of rectus abdominals)

– Recover their body as soon as possible after giving birth, we understand how your ligaments, joints, core and pelvic floor muscles are not the same as they used to be

– Improve pelvic pain, low back pain and neck pain

– Improve general strength and posture in a friendly postnatal environment

With only 5 mums per class, personalised attention is ensured.


Who is suitable for Pre/Postnatal Pilates at Eastside Pilates and Fitness Studio

These classes are suitable for anyone from 12 weeks pregnancy and a minimum 3 of weeks after giving birth. You can bring your baby from 3 weeks to 9 months old.

How to get started – Book a one-on-one assessment session with one of our specialized physiotherapists. They will check your pregnancy history, abdominal separation, pelvic floor contraction and any other pain or injuries to ensure you are safe to join Pre/Postnatal Pilates.

What to Bring – Feel free to bring anything that helps your little angel to be comfortable with the new environment (little toys, blankets, etc.). Socks are to be worn during your workout. Special socks with sticky rubber on the bottom can be purchased from our studio. Sweat towels are supplied at our studio. Please wear something that you can comfortably stretch in.

16hr Cancellation Policy – 16hr late cancellation fee applies for all bookings made. Please give 16 hours notice to cancel bookings; otherwise your session fee will be forfeited.
